Biographical Note

Kendall Weisiger was born on February 14, 1880, to Samuel C. and Bettie C. Weisiger. He attended VPI from 1896 to 1900, graduating with a degree in Electrical Engineering. In 1933, Weisiger served as the VPI commencement speaker. He was then the assistant to the president of Southern Bell Telephone. By 1941, when Weisiger spoke at commencement again, he was the vice president of American Telephone and Telegraph. He died in Georgia on September 18, 1960.
