Abstract

Portrait of Kendall Weisiger, probably taken either 1899 or 1900. Kendall Weisiger was born about 1880 to Samuel C. and Bettie C. Weisiger. He attended VPI from 1897-1899. He graduated with a degree in Electrical Engineering. In 1933, Weisiger served as the VPI commencement speaker. He was then the assistant to the President of Southern Bell Telephone. By 1941, when Weisiger spoke at commencement again, he was the Vice President of American Telephone and Telegraph. He died in Georgia in 1960.
