This collection includes memorabilia from Francis L. Carr's time at Virginia Polytechnic Institute, from 1937-1942. It contains a VPI cadet blue cap, a 1937 certificate of honor for Carr, a 1938 letter written by Carr to his sweetheart, an undated black and white Cadet Corps graduation photograph, a 1941 black and white photo of VPI cadets, a 1942 annual banquet program, a VPI pin, bronze cufflink, and two "G.W. Hume VA House Delegates" pins.
