Scope and Content
This collection contains letters to the editor received by Lucy Minogue Rowland when she was news editor and editor-in-chief of The Virginia Tech in 1968-1969. Topics of the letters to the editor include alcoholic beverages, women at VPI, VPI name change, and removing the Confederate flag from the Coliseum. Also included are letters of a political nature including a signed letter from David Eisenhower on "Youth for Nixon-Agnew," correspondence with Senator William B. Spong, Jr., and letters congratulating Minogue on her appointment as editor-in-chief.
