Madison E. Marye Papers
This collection contains newspaper articles, papers, photographs, and posters relating to Madison E. Marye's years as a Virginia State Senator. Marye is a veteran of World War Two, Korea, and Vietnam, serving in the U. S. Army from 1944 to 1965. When Marye retired from the Army he had achieved the rank of Major. After leaving the Army, Marye began his political career representing parts of Southwestern Virginia as a Democrat. Marye served in the State Senate from 1973 to 2002.

This collection contains a General Order from General A. P. Mason, written by Captain Charles R. Holmes in 1864.
Ebenezer E. Mason Diary,
The collection includes the diary of Ebenezer E. Mason, a magistrate and delegate, that covers his experiences from January through August 1864 as well as a few entries in February 1865.
Massachusetts Civil War Letter
Letter written from Massachusetts by "thy loving Madre" to "My dear Henry" during the American Civil War, mentioning the hardships and benefits of soldiering, the camp experiences of "Eddie C. W." [Edmund C. Whitney, 53rd Massachusetts?], the barracks at Camp Stevens in Groton Junction, but focusing largely on personal matters.
