University of Virginia Commemorative Medal
This bronze medal is embossed on one side with the seal of the University of Virginia (or similar image), which reads "UNIVERSITY OF VIRGINIA" at the top, says "1819" at the bottom, and in between depicts a woman in ancient Roman-style dress in front of buildings and holding a staff. The other side is embossed "HAEC OLIM MEMINISSE IVVABIT" on top, "1921" on the bottom, and in between the profile of a man.
Greenbrier County 160th Anniversary Commemorative Medal
This bronze medal is embossed on one side with two men holding guns and standing in front of Fort Donnally and says "Greenbrier County 160th Anniversary" at the top, "Fort Donnally" in the middle, "Gen. Andrew Lewis" and "Col. John Stuart" on a ribbon at the bottom, and "1778-1938" underneeath the ribbon. The back is embossed with a building on the top, the outline of the county and "Greenbrier County" on the left on top of a plant frond, and a round building and trees on the right.
VPI Medal
This bronze medal has a handle at the top, probably for attaching to a ribbon. The front is embossed with a laurel wreath at the bottom. In the center are the letters VPI intertwined and painted orange and maroon.
VTCC Squadron A Guidon
Guidon for the Virginia Tech Corps of Cadets Squadron A. The top is orange with "VTCC" in maroon, and the bottom is maroon with "A in gold or light orange. The guidon is in poor condition, with tears along the corners.
Free France of World War II Flag
This flag is for Free France, which represented the government-in-exile of Charles de Gaulle during World War II, when France was occupied. The flag is a tricolour of vertical band of blue, white, and red with a blue two-barred cross (aka Cross of Lorraine) on the white band. The flag is on a pole with blue, white, and red fabric strips wrapped around the top over a soft ball-style finial.
R. V. Kelsey Snare Drum
The snare drum is brown in color and made of wood and metal. Around the base of the snare drum is a light brown band that is about one inch thick, with a smaller cream colored band above it. The body of the drum is a darker stained wood. The top of the drum has the same bands as the bottom, a one inch light brown band and a smaller cream band. There are ten metal rods that are vertical around the drum, with fasteners at the top.

The collection consists of three fabric swatches. Two of the swatches are about three inches wide and ten inches long. The other swatch is about four inches wide and eight inches long. All three swatches are the same navy blue fabric with rough cut edges.
