Black masters hood with yellow velvet and red satin lining formerly belonging to Ed Wharely. Tag on the inside yellow lining reads "THE C.E. WARD CO NEW LONDON, OHIO O Va. Poly. Inst." Small black cords help attach to robe.

Biographical Note
Edward P. Whaley attended Virginia Tech for his undergraduate degree and later pursued his Master's at Washington and Lee University, graduating in 1949. This hood is from when he graduated with his Master's degree.
