Scope and Contents From the Collection: This collection contains three deeds for properties relating to Blacksburg [Virginia] Presbyterian Church. In a deed dated 1848, Ann Burk conveys to the church's trustees (Charles Black, John Peterman, Edwin I. Amiss, William Thomas, Thomas Brown, Daniel H. Hoge, and Thomas T. Jackson) 1800 square feet in the southwest corner of Lot 24, the site of the church. A 1904 deed between the church's trustees (K. Black, W. M. Lybrook, and Edward Black), sells to J. G. Price, J. P.
