Merwin Leven Papers
This collection contains papers belonging to Merwin Leven (1929-2007) during his time as a student at Virginia Polytechnic Institute (V.P.I.) from 1948-1950, mostly related to the Corps of Cadets and other student organizations. Contents include club membership cards, V.P.I. military science question and answer sheets, a Company D guard detail sheet, a humorous Company G "delinquency sheet," and a printout of the December 1949 issue of "The Lord Reading Club News."
Lewis A. Hall Banjo and Case
This four-stringed tenor banjo and case previously belonged to Lewis A. Hall, a member of the Collegians band in the 1920s. Handwritten on the banjo head is "THE COLLEGIANS" in black at the top, "VPI" in red across the center, and "BLACKSBURG, VA." in black on the bottom. The peghead identifies the brandname "Bruno."
Nelson Liddle Collection,
The Nelson Liddle Collection consists of photographs of the VPI Airport and aircraft during WWII as well as a photocopy of "The Beacon" newsletter from November 1942.

Nelson M. Magee Collection
This collection contains correspondence and personal items belonging to Nelson M. Magee, a 1952 graduate of Virginia Polytechnic Institute. Correspondence includes letters and cards sent to Magee while he was a V.P.I. student from 1948 to 1952.
Frank J. Maher Papers

Maher (1915-1995), an engineer specializing in aerodynamic research and an instructor in Engineering Science and Mechanics at Virginia Tech from 1937 to 1978. Includes consulting files and wind tunnel research on various building and bridge projects; research project files on aerodynamics and wind loads; academic courses; and materials relating to engineer and bridge designer David B. Steinman.
