This collection consists of a press, and two plates depicting the V.P.I. seal. The press is made of metal and has been painted black. The press consists of the body and the lever that presses the seal into desired page. On both sides of the press is a star design. The center of the star is a red circle, while the points are gold. The Virginia Tech Academic Regalia collection includes: a gown, hat, and hood. The hat is black with a yellow tassel. On the inside of the hat it reads "Oak Hall Cap and Gown Co. Roanoke, Virginia, 7 5/8 in front of cap." The condition is good, some discoloration on inside. The gown is black and made of cotton. There are black velvet stripes on either side of the opening.
