After earning his B.S. and M.S. degrees from Virginia Polytechnic Institute (VPI), John Redd Hutcheson (1886-1962) began working at the Virginia Agricultural Extension Service in 1914, becoming its director in 1919. This collection includes eighty postcards. Dated cards range from 1906 through 1995, but many cards are not dated.
