Abstract

The t-shirt is blue with short sleeves, and small one inch slits on the side of the shirt. The front of the shirt has "Virginia Tech welcome to he 1950s" printed in black silk screened letters.

The Emily Pillsbury Davis Cadet Uniform collection consists of a blue blouse, blue blazer, blue trousers, a white skirt, and a blue skirt.

Abstract

This collection contains an original cadet coatee from Virginia Agricultural and Mechanical College (VAMC) dated 1886. The coat belonged to Greenwood Hopkins Nowlin, Jr. (1878-1975) of Campbell County, Virginia, who attended Virginia Agriculture and Mechanical College (now Virginia Tech) from 1896 through 1899.
