Includes photographs, negatives, and other material relating to eight of the ten residences designed by Hastings and/or the Hastings Group that were featured in the "Home of the Month" section of The Seattle Times at various times from 1968 to 1984. Files are arranged chronologically (according to how they were organized by Hastings).

This collection contains publications, photographs, postcards, programs, and other memorabilia from John A. Kircher's time at Virginia Tech under the Army Specialized Training Program in 1943-1944. Items include Kircher's appointments within V.P.I., play programs, a V.P.I. handbook, and one play program dated 1889. There is also an In Memoriam from 1999 for the deceased members of the Class of 1944.

The collection consists primarily of newspaper clippings, correspondence, research notes, photocopies of historical documents, and files Bodell compiled while writing her book. The collection also includes an audiotape (1992) of an interview of Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Cox about Montgomery White Sulphur Springs, photographs of the cemetery where the Confederate dead were buried, and information about Bodell's 40th reunion of the class of 1948 from Blacksburg High School.
