Z Process Quick Freezing Collection
The Z Process Quick Freezing Collection consists of pamphlets and a photograph album. The pamphlets contain information on the quick freezing method developed by Mikhail Trofimovich Zarochentsev. The photograph album consists of images related to the freezing methods and equipments. The quick freezing method acted as a sanitary method to freeze seafood, meats, fruits, and vegetables and to maintain their nutritional values and taste.
John Holliday Diaries and Photographs,
The collection consists of two diaries written by John Holliday between May 1864 and July 1865, and five undated photographs (four believed to be of Holliday and one of his wife).
Adolph Samuel Bair Photographs
The Adolph Samuel Bair Photographs were taken on the campus of the Virginia Agricultural and Mechanical College and Polytechnic Institute (VPI) during the 1920s. The photographs depict Bair, the campus, and the VPI Corps of Cadets. Bair (1902-1988) graduated from VPI in 1924.

Ruby Bishop West Collection
This is a collection of materials related to Floyd County, Virginia history, particularly--but not limited to--church and education history, as well as materials related to the county's general history and its sesquicentennial celebration in 1981. Also includes personal materials, consisting of school records and diplomas from Radford College, personal photographs and ephemera, and sheet music from the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.
Patrick County [Virginia] Oral History Project Records
The collection consists of taped interviews; transcripts; biographical information about the interviewees; a subject card index to the interviews; a film, "Up and Down These Roads: a Rural County in Transition"; slide/tape programs; and such project documents as the original proposal, the final report, photographs, publicity clippings, and program posters. Appalachian Electric Power Company Photographs
This collection contains three photographs from the Appalachian Electric Power Company. While the photograph of the Executive Committee of the A.E.P. Social Club does not have a known date, the photograph of the A.E.P. Company's First Aid Class was taken in Roanoke, Virginia, in 1931. The photograph of the participants in the Service Pin Dinner is dated to 1956.
Huron, Ohio, Railroad Construction Photographs
This collection contains photographs of the construction of the railroad in Huron, Ohio, and images of the finished product. The photographs also include images of electrical substations. Some of the photos say W. & L. E. R. R., presumably the Wheeling and Lake Erie Railroad (also Railway).
