Anne Judkins Hager Papers
Margaret M. Sullivan Collection
The papers of Margaret M. Sullivan, a resident of Montgomery County, Virginia, include reminiscences of her life in Montgomery County from 1926 through World War II and two photographs of students at Montgomery County's Sunnyside School.
Talking About Work Oral History Interview Project,
Oral history interviews conducted by students of Dr. Emily Satterwhite's HUM 2504 Introduction to American Studies class with interviewees who work on or near the Virginia Tech campus. Interviews explore the particular jobs of the interviewees and the issues related to working for these interviewees. The collection also contains annotated bibliographies and reflections papers created by students about their interview experience. There are images of some of the interviewees.
Smithey & Boynton, Architects & Engineers Records
The collection contains project files and drawings related to more than 1,500 residences, churches, businesses, schools, and community buildings, predominantly in the Roanoke and Southwest Virginia area, designed by Smithey & Boynton, mostly between 1935 and 1957.
Rudolph Dixon Michael Papers
This collection contains the papers of Virginia Tech alumnus and agricultural information editor, Rudolph Dixon Michael. It contains correspondence and notes relating to the histories Blacksburg, the Preston family, and Smithfield Plantation (including maps of the grounds and the cemetery). It also contains a few campus photographs and printed materials related to Virginia Tech.
