Abstract This collection consists of a Caroline Rifles coatee possibly from c. 1861-1865. The coatee is a blue grey color and made of wool with a possibly quilted wool lining. The coatee has gold buttons with palmetto trees and "S.C." The back skirt is split in half with three buttons on each side and a black stripe under each button.
