The records of the Virginia Tech Chapter of the Society of the Cincinnati in the State of Virginia primarily relates to the nominations from the Virginia Tech Department of History to the state organization's American History Prize Essay contest. This collection also contains two of the winning essays, one from 1984 and another from 1985. The department began nominating individuals in 1972.
Records of the Virginia Tech Dairy Science Complex
The Records of the Virginia Tech Dairy Science Complex, RG 13/8/1, contains 23 ledgers about the dairy herds in the Department of Dairy Science farms from 1916 to 1969, with the bulk dating 1948 to 1968. The ledgers include information about breeding records, calfing, feeding records, pedigrees, and general health of the university's dairy cows. Some ledgers contain certificates and awards from the VT Dairy Science Complex.

The symposium was Virginia Tech's first on short-term profits, research and development, and U.S. competitiveness. Panelists discuss the commercialization of space technologies and the business potential for Virginia.
