Abstract This collection of topographical maps was separated from the J. Hoge Tyler Family Collection (Ms1967-002). The set is comprised of 37 individually titled maps, arranged by assigned, pencilled-in numbers according to geographic location, with 1 (Winchester) being in the northwest and 34 (Norfolk) in the southeast. Abstract This collection of topographical maps was separated from the J. Ambler Johnston Papers (Ms1974-012). The set is comprised of 52 individually titled maps, arranged in alphabetical order, each map (with the exception of the Christiansburg map, which may not be part of the original set) bearing a penciled-in number that coincides with its sequence in the alphabetical arrangement. The maps represent editions dating between 1891 and 1966, referring to surveys performed between 1883 and 1966....
