Association for the Preservation of Virginia Antiquities, Montgomery County Branch Papers
The records largely document the recent history of Smithfield Plantation, ancestral home of the Preston family, focusing particularly on its restoration beginning in 1962. While much of the renovation occurred in the 1960s, many of the records detail other renovation projects done in the 1970s and 1980s. The collection also includes historical and other related documents dating from before the original Preston family's residence at Smithfield.
Association for Women in Architecture Records
The Association for Women in Architecture (AWA) was originally founded in 1922 as Alpha Alpha Gamma, a national sorority for women architecture students. In 1934, the alumnae of the sorority formed the Association of Women in Architecture (AWA) (later Association for Women in Architecture) as an organization for professional women architects. Records include committee reports, correspondence, membership forms and rosters, photographs, scrapbooks, treasurer's files, and newsletters.
Maria Aubock Architectural Collection
The collection contains work by Austrian architect Maria Aubock and includes an exhibition catalog, fliers, speaking notes from a conference, a magazine with an article by Aubock, and a competition catalog with an intro by Aubock. Also included are 2 color publications, three folded color brochures, and one smaller catalog.

Letters of the Barry, Parker, and related families of Holly Springs, Mississippi; Somerset, Kentucky; and elsewhere, focusing on family matters, including lengthy, detailed accounts of the illnesses and deaths of John G. Parker and Ann Barry Dewey, who both died in Somerset in 1856.
Minnie A. Baughman Commonplace Book
The collection consists of a commonplace book owned by Minnie Baughman of Richmond, Virginia. Mary Amelia Baughman, known as "Minnie," was the daughter of George and Mary Jane Greer Baughman and sister of Confederate soldiers, George, Jr., Greer H., Charles C., and Emilius A. Baughman. The book dates from November 1864 to July 1865 and contains Minnie's algebra work, French vocabulary, grammar, and a large amount of poetry and Confederate patriotic songs.
Isobel Baylor Scrapbook
The Isobel Baylor Scrapbook is a scrapbook created by Baylor that includes playbills, letters, inivtations, newspaper clippings and more. The scrapbook commeorates her time at High Point High School in High Point, North Carolina, and subjects include theater and social life.
Vivian Coleman Bear Papers
The collection contains the papers of Roanoke, Virginia resident Vivian Coleman Bear, including correspondence from E. Ferd Weigand and other suitors; family correspondence and financial documents relating to the Clemens and Staley families; Bible with genealogical notes and clippings; photographs; and ephemera.
