Ruth White Fisher Scrapbook
This collection includes a scrapbook compiled by Blacksburg, Virginia artist Ruth White Fisher, relating to her series of paintings titled "The Evolution of Creativity," donated to Virginia Tech. It includes photographs, correspondence, newspaper clippings, and ephemera about the paintings and the donation ceremony.
William E. Franklin Memorabilia
The collection includes memorabilia from William E. Franklin's student years (1872-1875) at Virginia Agriculture and Mechanical College: a program from the 1875 commencement exercises, an undated photo of the Cadet Corps, and an 1879 letter from Charles Martin, a professor of English.
Chapman J. French Papers
The collection contains papers of Chapman J. French, civil engineer employed by Norfolk & Western Railway from 1903 to 1950. It includes correspondence, memoranda, working notes, and specifications for projects as well as company and engineering department procedures. Also includes personal papers, largely relating to purchases for household and farm.

William Gitt Journal
This collection contains a journal kept from September through November 1912 by William Uncle Bill
Gitt. Gitt was born in Newport, Virginia, and attended the Virginia Agricultural and Mechanical College from 1877 to 1878. Gitt later lived in the Number 1 Barracks on campus and worked at the college doing various tasks for the cadets.
