Scope and Contents note

Architect of Chicago, Illinois, and co-founder of CARY (Chicks in Architecture Refuse to Yield), a Chicago women architects group. Materials focus on a multi-media exhibit Levine created entitled "ALICE (Architecture Lets in Chicks Except...) Through the Glass Ceiling," which explores the status of women in the field of architecture. The exhibit was shown at the New Langton Arts Gallery in San Francisco from July to September 1995. Documentation of the exhibit, Palladio's Sister, is also included. Materials include literature describing the both exhibits, an audiotape cassette, slides, and Levine's curriculum vitae.
