Born 1928. Architect of Los Angeles, California, and the first African-American woman to become a licensed architect in New York (1954) and California (1962), and a Fellow of the American Institute of Architects. Principal of the Jerde Partnership in Los Angeles and director of the Los Angeles chapter of the AIA. Materials include a curriculum vitae, a reprint of an article, "Designing Women," from The California Executive, (November 1987) and photographs of and information about several of her designs in California.
