Amon W. Updike Correspondence
The Amon W. Updike Correspondence consists of photocopies of five letters from Updike while camped in New Kent, Chesterfield, and Henrico counties, Virginia, to his sister, Phebe Arthur, during the American Civil War. Also included are photocopies of letters from Phebe Arthur to her husband Henry, letters from Henry to Phebe and to other family members, and a letter from J.O. Hensley, Arthur's captain, informing Phebe of her husband's death.
Martin Urner Ledger
The collection contains a single ledger from Martin Urner’s harness and saddle-making business in New Market, Virginia. The ledger includes customer and payment information from 1867 to 1881.

Collection consists of the criminal docket of the U.S. Circuit Court located in Bickley Mills, Virginia (Russell County). Entries date from 1893 through 1897. Also present are documents related to correspondence and receipts to William Jessee, the constable of Russell County. These documents date from 1906 through 1907.

This collection contains photocopies of affidavits, claims and answers, stipulations, and a bill for legal fees relating to U.S. v $28,000-Effects of R. E. Lee et al. which dealt with the seizure of land from Confederate leaders.
USS Dwight D. Eisenhower Commemorative Envelopes
This collection contains two empty envelopes from the commisioning of the aircraft carrier, the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower, on October 18, 1977, named in honor of the late U.S. President. The envelope also has the name of the Captain of the ship, who was William E. Ramsey.
USS Pittsburg Paymaster's Ledger
The collection contains a U.S. Navy paymaster's ledger, believed to be from the USS Pittsburg, a Union Navy gunboat during the American Civil War. Also includes a single sheet officers' pay roll, dated 1866, believed to be from the USS Shawmut.
Herbert E. Valentine Scrapbook
Herbert E. Valentine (1841-1917) served in Company F, 23rd Massachusetts Volunteer Infantry during the American Civil War. The collection contains a 50-page scrapbook compiled by Valentine with newspaper clippings written in 1911-1912 about his regiment's war activities, photographs from a monument dedication ceremony for his regiment in New Berne, North Carolina in 1908, and 39 ink wash scenes sketched during the war years.
