V.A.M.C. Cadet Coatee
The collection contains a blue grey Cadet coatee from Virginia Agricultural and Mechanical College. The material consists of wool and cotton lining with some tears in lining. Several buttons missing from the front of the coat. Remaining buttons are gold colored with "V.A.M.C." above the college's seal. Tag on the inside collar of the coat reads "D. Klein and Bro. Philadelphia" Tag stitched into the lining that reads "Donated by Corps Jan. 1975."

The collection include photographs, slides, negatives, and audiotapes from Virginia 4-H State Shows, State Fairs, and other events throughout the state. 4-H programs began in Virginia in 1908, and since then, the Virginia Cooperative Extension, Virginia Tech, and Virginia State University have hosted the Virginia 4-H Horse Program, which emphasizes equine selection, nutrition, management, riding, and horsemanship.
