This collection consists of an undated photograph album, program from his Inauguration as President of Virginia Tech, The Techgram, May 1, 1949 and an official photogram taken by The Foster Studio in Richmond, Virginia. There are several postcards and letters sent to Ella Boyer, possibly a housekeeper in the Newman family.

U. S. Army Air Corps Photographs

Abstract

The collection includes seven photographs showing U. S. Army Air Corps bombers and group bombing exercises. The photographs were taken during inspection and training exercises based out of Langely Field, near Hampton, Virginia, during March and April 1928.

Abstract

The IAWA Small Collections was compiled from a variety of sources by Special Collections staff for use in reference and research. The collection consists primarily of biographical materials for women architects, architectural historians, and designers including curriculum vitas, firm brochures, exhibit notices, photographs, and publications. Drawings, sketches, course notes, correspondence, and other materials pertaining to architectural collections are also present.

Appalachian Electric Power Company Photographs

Abstract

This collection contains three photographs from the Appalachian Electric Power Company. While the photograph of the Executive Committee of the A.E.P. Social Club does not have a known date, the photograph of the A.E.P. Company's First Aid Class was taken in Roanoke, Virginia, in 1931. The photograph of the participants in the Service Pin Dinner is dated to 1956.
