The collection consists of a single black and white photograph of a group of National Biscuit Company salesman and delivery drivers posed outside of a factory. Most of the men are carrying cracker display units and the trucks in the background are advertising Uneeda Biscuits. The photograph is not dated.

The collection contains a scrapbook of images from the liquor store window at the St. Francis Hotel in San Francisco, California. The collection likely dates from about the 1950s, though none of the items are specifically dated.

The collection includes stereoviews, mostly of Civil War-era or Civil War-related images. Items in the collection are individually described in the contents list of the finding aid.

Abstract The Virginia Cooperative Extension Service Photographs, RG 26/2b, contains approximately 5,000 photographs of activities of the Agricultural Extension Service from 1937 thru 1966, primarily in the 1950s. Photographs depict 4-H activities, home demonstration work, food, breeding, field stations, gardening, poultry, dairy, and other subjects. This collection contains photographs of the construction of the railroad in Huron, Ohio, and images of the finished product. The photographs also include images of electrical substations. Some of the photos say W. & L. E. R. R., presumably the Wheeling and Lake Erie Railroad (also Railway).

The collection contains photographs of Post Offices and other Government buildings collected by Otis Waldrop (1901-1990), who graduated from Virginia Polytechnic Institute (VPI) and served as chief of design and construction for the U. S. General Services Administration region 3.

The collection includes two carte-de-visites of Mr. & Mrs. O. S. Pence, taken at Rees studio in Richmond, Virginia, c.1861-1865. Each is posed beside photographer's stock background and chair.
