Subseries B: Photographs, 1924 - 1927
This subseries contains photographic prints and negatives of images created by Howard Avery while a student at VPI. Most of the photographs were taken while he was the Photographic Editor of the 1927 Bugle.

This subseries contains photographs and digital images sent to Virginia Tech following the events of April 16, 2007. Groups and individuals are pictured, for example, wearing Virginia Tech colors, holding a memorial service, or raising money for the Hokie Spirit Fund. Other subseries may include photographs.
This subseries was arranged alphabetically by donor name. The donor may or may not be the creator of the item.

The subseries photographs/slides are divided further into Family Portraits and Photographs, Miscellaneous. The miscellaneous photographs are mostly unidentified snapshots. Major subjects present include: Altrusa meetings; Pettersen's barn/studio and pets; Pettersen's travels to visit friends; parties/gatherings; house models; Taliesin West Half Century celebration; and a visit to Frank Lloyd Wright's Grand Waikapu Country Club in Maui, Hawaii.
