Geneva Preserving Company Photograph Album
The collection consists of a small album of photographs of the Geneva Preserving Company Factory in Geneva, New York. Photos include women working the factory line, a patient in the company infirmery, production lines, canning, tinsmiths, and a Geneva farm.
Gary Ann Giovanni Culinary Papers
This collection includes the papers of Gary Ann Giovanni, a chef, caterer, and cooking teacher active in Blacksburg, Virginia. The collection contains records, menus, and recipes from her catering jobs and from the cooking classes she taught for the local YMCA Open University. Materials also relate to the various community organizations for which Gary worked or volunteered, and some materials are associated with her sister, poet Nikki Giovanni.

This item is a vintage hand grinder, probably from the early 20th century. It's a small jar with a screw-on lid, fitted with a spout and handcrank. Generally, these were suited for hand-grinding nuts or small quanities of dried fruit or grains. This item was donated along with Artifcat-061, Egg beater.

Elvira Jane Hanna Receipt Book,
The collection contains a book holding both recipes and medical receipts, likely written by an Elvira Jane Hanna whose name is signed on many of the volume's pages. The recipes include Sweet Potato Waffles, Turtle Soup, Bacon Frase, Ginger Beer, Cottage Pudding, Panada, Arrow Root Jelly, Oyster Pie, and Election Cake.
Hardywood Fightin' Hokies Lager Bottle
The bottle is amber with a sticker label that wraps around majority of the bottle's body. The label has a brick pattern at the top, followed by an orange line, and below the line is all maroon. The front of the bottle says "HARDYWOOD" above a maroon gobbler that is inside a white diamond. Below the gobbler is the text "FIGHTIN' HOKIES LAGER ALCOHOL 5.0% BY VOL . 12 FL OZ." The same logo and text is repeated on the side of the bottle.
