The collection includes Edwin Talley’s six original pen and ink drawings depict the buildings of Virginia Tech’s Agriculture Quadrangle: Hutcheson, Price, Sandy, Seitz, Smyth, and Saunders.

The collection contains newspaper clippings relating to industrial and economic development in the New River Valley, with an emphasis on the Radford Army Ammunition Plant, together with studies titled "Facts About the Blacksburg Community" and "Some Facts About Virginia's People."

The collection consists of a letter from Mildred Tate to Mrs. Gillette inviting her to a dinner at the Hillcrest Dormitory on the campus of the Virginia Polytechnic Institute.

The collection consists of a timeline and copies of documentation about Robert Creede Taylor, a former student at Virginia Agricultural and Mechanical College, and his family during the years 1866 to 1915 gathered by R. C. Taylor's great-grandson.

The collection contains a "Lessons in Lettering" practice book that belonged to W. L. Taylor, Jr. The exercises are completed and graded.

The Harry Downing Temple, Jr., Papers contains materials related to Temple's personal life, interest in heraldry and insignia, and his research and publications on the Virginia Tech Corps of Cadets. Materials date from about 1872 to 2004.

The Records of the Horticulture Club include scrapbooks, plaques, newsletters, certificates, and photographs related to the Horticulture "Hort" Club at Virginia Tech from 1947-2024.

Born in Columbus, Ohio, moved to South Charleston, West Virginia in 1925. Attended Virginia Polytechnic Institute from 1937-1941. Awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor and Purple Heart during World War II. Collection includes photographs, clippings, citations, and papers collected by Lt. Col. John Coulter for his book on the six Medal of Honor winners who were students from Virginia Tech.
