VPI Shot Glass
This collection includes a large VPI shot glass with the university seal in maroon and orange on the front. On the back side of the shot glass are four lines in orange with Virginia sports team names. The following names are listed: Hokies, Mountianeers, VMI Keydets, and Cavaliers.
VT Alumni Bag
The VT Alumni Bag is a white tote bag printed with the university logo of the pylons and "1872" and the words "Virginia Tech Alumni."
VT Men's Basketball Collection
VT Seal Cross Stitch
The Virginia Tech Cross stitch is mounted on cardboard with staples, the edges of the fabric sealed with tape. The base of the cross stitch is done in a cream color, with a maroon and orange Virginia Tech seal in the center. Some of the details of the seal are stitched in green, yellow, grey, and cream. Around the seal is text that reads "VIRGINIA POLYTECHNIC INSTITUTE AND STATE UNIVERSITY." In maroon stitching in the bottom right hand corner is the text "THW '70."
VT Stories Oral History Collection
A collection of oral history interviews with Virginia Tech's alumni, faculty, and staff, focusing on the Hokie community and alumni involvement. Orginally initiated in 2015 and managed by faculty and staff across the university, the core of the project was student involvement, Hokies interviewing Hokies, to document past experiences that created enduring connections between alumni and university.
VTCC Squadron A Guidon
Guidon for the Virginia Tech Corps of Cadets Squadron A. The top is orange with "VTCC" in maroon, and the bottom is maroon with "A in gold or light orange. The guidon is in poor condition, with tears along the corners.
Records of War Memorial Chapel
The Records of War Memorial Chapel contain architectural records, posters, photographs, and prints pertaining to Virginia Tech’s War Memorial Chapel - including the Memorial Court, pylons, and cenotaph - and its construction in the 1950s and early 1960s. There are also a few pamphlets detailing the dedication and commemoration of the chapel, as well as records from the chapel after it was opened.
Joseph F. Ware Collection
The collection contains 102 letters from Joseph F. Ware to his wife, Susie, in Blacksburg, Virginia, while he was serving overseas during and after World War I. The other significant portion of this collection contains nearly 200 photographs.
