The hood is black with a red, sliver, and white lining. A tag on the lining near the neck of the hood reads "THE C.E. WARD CO. NEW LONDON, OHIO 3."
The robe is also black in color with dark blue velvet strip details down the front and on the sleeves. A tag inside of the robe reads "R.J.H. INTERCOLLEGIATE BUREAU COTRELLS LEONARD ALBANY, NNY. U.S.A. MAKERS OF THE CAPS, GOWNS AND HOODS TO THE AMERICAN COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES."
