National Visitor Center (Washington, D.C.) Collection
The National Visitor Center (Washington, D.C.) Collection includes materials concerning the projected construction of the National Visitor Center at Union Station in Washington D.C. in the 1970s. The collection includes correspondence, records, images, memorabilia, maps, and architecture drawings of the center, which was only open briefly from 1976 to 1978.

Hermann C. Niemeyer Papers
This collection includes the papers of Hermann C. Niemeyer, a student at Virginia Agricultural & Mechanical College (now Virginia Tech) during the 1870s. It includes a list of Niemeyer's expenses while at school in 1876 and 1877, a certificate of accomplishment, well-wishes of classmates, and a photo portrait of Niemeyer in uniform.
Marcus L. Oliver Correspondence
The collection contains business correspondence from Marcus L. Oliver's tenure with the Virginia Tech Alumni Association (1950-1968) and the University of the South Alumni Association. The collection also includes personal correspondence from 1947 to 2010.
Louis O'Shaughnessy Letters
The collection contains 1903 to 1905 letters from Louis O'Shaughnessy to his future wife, Ida Surface, and one letter from O'Shaughnessy to G. T. Surface.

The Thomas David Perry Collection includes the papers relating to the history of Patrick County, Virginia, and native son James Ewell Brown "Jeb" Stuart, a Confederate General during the American Civil War, particularly Stuart's genealogy and birthplace, Laurel Hill.
