The G. C. Bales Tourist Camp Collection contains tourist ledgers and ephemera related to the Southwest Virginia Co-op.

The R. M. Ballantyne Letters includes two letters from Scottish novelist Robert Michael Ballantyne (1825-1894) to his publishers and one to a close friend or relative. 

The collection includes a string of cardboard cut-out advertisements for Ballard's Obelisk Flour and a booklet with recipes and cooking tips from the Ballard and Ballard Company. In addition, it has a small pocket mirror with an advertisement on the back.

Bond in which John Ballenger, of Pittsylvania County, Virginia, promises to pay the sum of 140 pounds to Andrew McMahan of Amherst County, unless Ballenger provides McMahan with lawful right to a tract of land in Pittsylvania County.

This collections include the architectural drawings of Diana Balmori, landscape architect and design principal of Balmori Associates. It also includes schematic and construction drawings and presentation boards for three design projects.

Letter written by "N.R.W." in Baltimore, Maryland, on January 7, 1860, and addressed to Dr. Charles H. Moore in Louisiana, expressing his desire to secure a teacher's position in a wealthy Southern household and relaying personal news.

The Bank of Blacksburg Minute Book collection consists of photocopies of the minutes of stockholders' and directors' meetings between the years 1892- 1903.

The John Barbour, Jr., Letters are comprised of two missives from a Virginia senator and president of the Orange and Alexander Railroad Company to William M. Burwell, Esquire. Letters concern raising support in Albemarle County for the extension of the railroad between Charlottesville and Lynchburg.

The Barclay Shipping Ledger from Norfolk, Virginia, covers shipments going through Virginia from 1847-1878. The ledger includes records of auctioneers of enslaved persons.

The collection contains papers related to the cargo ship Bark Lorena from Stockton, Maine, which carried goods to and from Europe and Cuba.
