This collection contains the records of the Blacksburg, Virginia, Chapter of the American Association of Retired Persons (AARP). This collection contains newsletters created by the Blacksburg Chapter, membership rosters, historical notes, secretary's minutes, and a manuscript containing the history of the chapter. The Blacksburg Chapter was first organized in 1976 and within a year became a chartered member of the AARP.
