John Holliday Diaries and Photographs,
The collection consists of two diaries written by John Holliday between May 1864 and July 1865, and five undated photographs (four believed to be of Holliday and one of his wife).

The collection contains several photographs from the Virginian Railway Company (later Norfolk and Western Railway—a major midwestern railroad company which operated out of Norfolk, VA).

The collection contains an unbound photograph album with 12 leaves, generally with photographs on both sides. The photographs show images from Herbert Fletcher Harrelson's time at the Virginia Agricultural and Mechanical College and Polytechnic Institute, dating from 1919-1922.
