Abstract This collection consists of a cape, sabre, and pipe. The cape is made of wool/wool felt and is navy blue with a red lining. Across the chest there are black cord frogs that connect on the exterior. At the collar there are two metal hooks. This Drum Major's Mace was previously owned by Ralph Edward Hughes and was possibly given to him by Sherman Edmond Seelinger. The mace is approxamately three feet long and is wrapped in orange and maroon ribbon, with excess ribbon hanging off of one end. On the opposite end of the mace is a rounded wooden top that has been painted gold.

This collection includes two needlepoint canvas's with hand drawn Gobbler bird designs in orange and maroon. On one canvas above the Gobbler it reads "VPI." Printed on the tape border it reads "E.B. Orginals." On the other canvas it reads "VA. TECH." above the bird and "The Fighting Gobbler" below the bird.

Both canvas's are templates for needlepoint, neither have been used.
